Geraldton tourism company makes a splash in Perth

Piatella Glass Bottom Boat Tours have made their mark on the state’s capital with a recent campaign showcasing the Houtman Abrolhos Islands.

Featuring on Yagan Square Tower’s big screen for the next week, the 60 second advertisement includes turquoise water, abundant sea life and the glass bottom vessel which was launched just recently.

Managing Director Peter Burton said it was an incredible opportunity that he couldn’t pass up.

“To showcase the Abrolhos Islands in the heart of Perth is a once in a lifetime chance that will have huge flow on effects to the Midwest,” he said.

“Hundreds of thousands of people walk through the area on a weekly basis and will be encouraged to visit Geraldton and the Abrolhos Islands from this campaign.

“A big thank you to Mark from Dragonfly Media for producing the top-class advertisement.”

Piatella Glass Bottom Boat Tours launched the vessel earlier this year and it is now available for the public to enjoy.

“If you’re not as agile as you once were or prefer to experience the ocean without getting in, this is the perfect adventure for you,” Mr Burton continued.

“You’ll have an unforgettable experience aboard the Piatella and get to see some things that you may not have been able to before such as vibrant reefs, tropical fish, dolphins and sea lions.”

Aboard the vessel is a magnified glass bottom allowing passengers to see the reef and discover the underwater secrets of the Abrolhos Islands.

Lifetime Cray Fisherman and Managing Director Peter Burton provides daily tours from East Wallaby Island.
